1970 - St. Stephen, the Stable-Boy
After five years it was time to replace the the 20 öre Posthorn with a new stamp. The Posthorn was of a smaller size but the new 20 öre definitive stamp was printed on the larger B-format. The image of St. Stephen, the Stable-Boy is from a ceiling painting from Dädesjö church in Småland, 13th century. The artist was called Sighmunder according to local tradition and the engraver was Arne Wallhorn.
